A great addition to a coal yard, depot or as a standalone item. The coal staithes when printed with Wood PLA will add that extra touch of realism to your layout. When printed at OO scale (1:1), this product measures 102mm x 32mm x 33mm. The product can be printed upright without any support material. 

When printed with Wood PLA, we recommend the following process:

  1. Lightly sand to bring out more of the wood texture
  2. Use washes or stains to bring out the wood texture further
  3. Use a dark brown or black wash to darken the base and lower parts of the frame
  4. Use black or dark brown panel line wash to bring out the edges of the boards
  5. Complete the look with coal loads such as those from Hattons
