This 3D model produces a Style 63 (WBS) point machine pre-mounted on sleepers. This model is designed to fit Peco and Hornby code 100 points. The model was developed from multiple technical drawings and design documents, along with dozens of photographs of installations to produce a replica of the Style 63 point machine in OO scale. This is a 'dummy' point machine for scenic purposes, it works well with Peco points and under the baseboard mounted point motors. 

This model can be downloaded once with unlimited prints for personal use, making it good value for money and a great way to reduce costs on your layout.

This version is designed for installation on the left hand side of left hand running track. T3D-003-002 offers a reverse mounting option. T3D-003-003 provides the point machine unmounted.

Material Usage: 0.26m (~1g)

Print Considerations: Support material should be enabled, print at the highest possible print layer resolution. We print these at 0.1mm with 30-40% infill. This design requires 0.1mm layer height resolution to print properly. You may need to experiment with the settings to get the bolt pattern to print correctly. This design is more detailed and more complex but is more accurate. Unless you are experienced with 3D printing and require the accurate bolt pattern, we recommend using 003-001 through 003-006 instead.

  1. Use Trackside3D small object profile
  2. Enable supports (tweak Z and XY distance as needed to remove supports)
  3. Build plate adhesion optional - recommend brim
  4. Infill should be 30% to 40% (adjust depending on material used)
  5. Layer height should be best available (recommend 0.12mm - 0.1mm)
