Trackside3D Trade Licensing – Make, Sell & Support the Hobby
On June 20th 2025, we’re launching a new way to support model railway businesses, clubs, and creators — all while keeping the hobby affordable and accessible for everyone.
🛠️ How It Works
Step 1: Pick a Subscription
Choose the license that best fits your needs — whether you’re a club fundraiser, small business, exhibitor, or manufacturer. Subscriptions start at just a few pounds a month.
Step 2: Buy Models
Purchase any of our digital model files using your licensed account. These models are optimized for 3D printing and ready to go.
Step 3: Print and Package
Use your own 3D printer to produce the models. Finish them as you like — whether you’re packaging for a club table, a local show, or retail sale.
Step 4: Sell Locally or Nationally
Sell the printed models according to your subscription level — from local club tables to national online stores or even retail distribution. As long as you have an active subscription, you can sell as much as you can.
Subscription | Ideal For | Scope |
Club Fundraisers | Model Railway clubs and charities | Sell in person at local club events and exhibitions |
Promotional Rail Pass | Businesses offering prints as gifts, promos or free event items | Give away printed models - not for resale |
Railtour Trader | Exhibitors, Traders and Vendors | Sell physical prints at exhibitions and events only |
Trade Pass | Independent Businesses | Sell online and in person across your country |
Network Distributor | Wholesalers and Exporters | Sell to shops, resellers and overseas customers (additional flat fee per 10,000 prints) |
OEM Works | Manufacturers bundling with products | Include parts / tools in kits or add to supplement products (additional flat fee per 10,000 prints) |
Unlimited Physical Prints
A monthly (or discounted annual) subscription unlocks unlimited printing of any model you’ve purchased as an active subscriber — no per-print charges (except Distributor and OEM tiers, which pay a small flat fee per 10,000 units).
